Does anybody know if there is a way to make the center rings of the gauges not glow aymore. I did a search and nothing really came up, the question was asked several times, but an answer was never given.

I was thinking thst maybe you could cut the connection to the rings but I dont know if you have to have it connected to complete the circuit.... if that makes sense.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I deid a search but came up empty handed, i know there was one that actually did cut teh center lead so that it didnt light up a few years back. I dont know what he cut but i know it was and it no longer lit up

 

If you were to cut the connection would you have to bridge, the ends taht you cut from the rings. I hope this makes sense. I want to do this, cause those center rings are just too damn bright, but I don't want to fuck up my gauges, then have to buy another set.

Well, when I get my aftermarket HU I will see what I can do about this. I mean I might as well take the whole dash apart while Im at it...... right?
