replacing tails

i know this subject has been touched upon countless times, im trying to install the '02 tails and ive gotten as far as removing all the 5/16th screws and taking out the bulbs, only thing that damn honda piece that is connected to the tail via a tiny impossible to reach screw, also i cant get the fabric covering out of my friggin way to work comfortably.....is there any FAQ that covers this entire installation or anything anyone can share would be great, thanks

you need to mess with it a bit more.......which side are you working on? the left (I think) has a hook screwed into the wall on the left....unscrew that and that'll help you move the fabric out of the way....don't be afriad of bending it....you can push that fabric back pretty far without any worries.

yeah i started on the left side, i was nervous about messing with the fabric too much i didnt wanna break it, the honda harness thats attached with a screw to the tail light is a pain in the ass to get to un-screw it, i guess patience will have to do

use the same socket that you used to unscrew the the tail light housings to unscrew that hook on the left wall........it's the same size.
