Replacing stock HIDs...6000k vs 8000k

Hey guys. i recieved my 7500k PIAA fogs today and put them in....they look awesome however, they severely mis-match my headlights. i already wanted to put 6 or 8ks in anyway, so now's the time.

when i bought these fogs, there was a comparison pic: so i'm assuming 6000k isn't BLUE enough for my headlights.....
Piaa Plasma Blue 7500K VS. 6000K

Here's a pic from Plasmagarage.com.

8000k

6000k

i'm looking for something on the BLUER side than white or purple. i know it wont PERFECTLY match the fogs, but they'll be close.

Is there any other store i could get 8000k bulbs from for the same price (or lower) as plasmagarage.com ($189) with a better quality bulb? thanks for the help.

any pros/cons about 8000k vs 6000k? besides the 8000k not being as bright.

Also, the difference of my headlights, and fogs. (Stock headlights, 7500k LEFT foglight, 5100k RIGHT foglight. http://www.acurainspired.com/gallery...1429&uuid=1293

BTW, if anyone wants to buy my stock HIDs PM me. They look the same as they did when they were new. (15 mo ago) -shawn

EDIT: BTW- do you recommend i change the bulbs myself?...being that it's covered and "high voltage" and stuff....thanks.

the higher the K, the purplier the light. the lower the number the whiter, SO...I think 6000K would be just about that mid point of blue vs purple

anyone else have any experience with 8000ks looking MORE purple THAN 6000k?.....i remember some people put in 8000ks....don't remember who. i know all that stuff about the kelvin scale, the higher the K the more purple, but it doesn't really seem that way up until 800k PLUS.....
