replacing stock fog light bulbs? what do you guys run....

replacing stock fog light bulbs? what do you guys run....

stock wattage is 50 watts and all i found was like 70. too much to burn out the housing?

I'm running 80Ws in the fog lights and there's no burning whatsoever in the housing or the socket.

i used PIAA 5200k XENON bulbs. i think they look awesome and wouldn't convert to an HID kit. not really feeling the 80W....don't see the need. but, it's your choice....good luck.

BTW- they're 55W

these are really cheap and they have laster twice as long as the Silvania bulbs I had...wich were $25/each. I think they also look much nicer too.

There are tons of them, u can just get a wiring harness to support the extra current. 55Ws is what people agree to be "safe" with stock wiring. Some have gone higher.

yup 80W Eaglites from midnight moose are what I have. although I'd have to say that they're a little bit blue.
