Replacing my High beams/DRL, is it hard?

hey guys,

I'm just wondering, I'm replacing my Fogs with Eaglite 9006 Super whites, and was wondering how hard is it too replace my High/DRL lights also? Do you have to dismantle the whole headlight to get to it, or is it as simple as pop off a cover, stick the new bulb in and go?

anyone know?

thanks

I abandoned my high beam replacement project. It looked to me like the batt needs to come out to replace the drivers side one. the pass side went in ez

Taking the 3 screws out is a pain. You need to buy a side racheting screw driver, else it will be a real real pain.

passenger side is a breeze but the driver side is a bit more challenging if you have big hands cuz the battery is in the way. it took me maybe 5mins longer to fiddle around and get my fingers in there, but i got it done no problem. i put mine in a while ago, so i don't really remember the steps. just do a search for it and print it off and follow that when your chaning the bulbs. that's what i did.

Read your manual, Took me ten minuites to change out both high and fog lights. You don`t touch those screews, the only thing you remove is the 10Mm bolt holding your fog light s to the brackett and the overflow(recovery tank). It just lifts out of your way! Read the manaul, it`s the easyest mod you can do to the car. What ever you do don`t touch the bulbs.
Good luck!

yah i think I'll have Tatewaki put them in for me. I'm ordering all the stuff soon, and we're having a meet next week at woodbine acura. So at that time, I'll have him swap out the bulbs.

thanks for the help guys.

later.

Replacing thre DTR lamp/ High beams are easy....
-the passenger side.. you just reach for the base of the bulb, twist it out, install new bulb.

-the driver side, unscrew and remove the cap on the coolant overflow revervoir.
-then just gently pull the reservoir straight up/out.
-replace bulb.
-look inside reservoir to see if the tube has fallen inside (from the cap)
-reinstall the tube onto cap (if needed)
-reinstall reservoir
-reinstall cap

--VOILA...
