What parts of your grill are gold?
When I bought my car, it had just the gold Acura emblem on the grill, so it was easy to replace. If you have the full gold grill, you would have to order the original chrome grill pieces, cause the grill does not come in black chrome (although that would be very cool!) You could probably get a price from Snook, since he sells Acura OEM stuff. By the way, it must look real odd to have gold in the front and black chrome in the back, hah???

Before buying, I seriously suggest you make sure the VIN number sticker on the hood matches the actual vehicle's VIN number. Also, check the doors and anywhere else you see the VIN sticker.
The reason why I say this is that I was looking into buying a used TL and found one with gold emblems on the front and regular emblems on the back. After checking the VIN stickers, I realized it was a total chop shop car with the hood from a different TL, back right door from ANOTHER TL, and most of the car repainted. This was on a 2000 model!
Also, make sure it's not a Canadian model, otherwise the dealer won't honor any warranty that's left. If the 12th digit of the VIN number is '0', then it is a US model. If it is '8', then it is a Canadian model.
Good luck!
