your not gonna notice a huge diff with diff bulbs in the fogs. personally i didn't think the figs did much for light output, then i put hids in then they put out more light than my headlights

I am looking for a cost effective replacement, HIDs are pretty damn expensive arent they?

yes. but don't expect much just a color change. its not like with new bulbs your gonna see any better. if you want something that matches the hid a little better just get silverstars.

just don't up the wattage. fogs are only rated at that wattage cause they can't take any more heat from a higher wattage bulb (in most cases, i know many will prove me wrong)

I found the silverstars at autozone fore 32 bucs which is cheaper than walmart(38). I love the new look considering it matches the color of the stock HIDs. I also replaced the factory high beam which also helped the look and brightness.

So is the light more bluer and whiter than the stock yellowish tint //

51-55w

You got a HID kit i take it? thats about the only way your going to get a true 6500k. Yes you will see a difference, the stock headlights are only 4300 and halogens are less than the oem hid
