right, and the 6ks add a tint of blue to tone the whiteness down
I personally like the effect- its easy on these old eyes

Its the same color wavelength as the security porch lights on my house- but the headlights are WAY more intense that a 42 watt flouresent

How are your 4300s at picking up the road marking and the white tape on semis?
- thats where the differance is most appearent from my old bulbs.

Now I need to do some road pics to demonstrate the effect

Quote: low time? whats that?

is 6000k brighter than 4300k ?
and last as long?
No, they are not.
Looks brighter but it is not.
The 4300K put out more light/lumens
But the 6000K more blue.
And you can get the bulb from ebay pretty cheap.
And allways!!! buy a new one.
Because you never know how they handle the bulb.
You must use latex gloves to handle the bulb (HID and halogen), cuz the oil on the human body will screw it up the bulb.
Philips make a good bulb.

I might be wrong, but I thought the dealership carries Phillips also. At any rate, Phillips are Phillips.

if trying to match 1 OE, get the 4300 phillips or it will be off in color
if looking for killer lights get Kaixen

Seems to me as if you want more BLING, if you know what I mean. Like 01TL suggested, Kaixen for more color. But there's just people out there who don't care for color, and like more output and coverage. Just make a decision and compare.

Let me be clear- the 6000 Kaixen put more light on the road and a nicer light IMO for my eyes.
If you dig thru excelerates post there is info on how their 6k is closer to 5k of others, and their 5 is like 4300

I dont have an 01 with new 4300 phillips to run next to, so I can only compare to other cars on the road...I win the best lights over most of them

I make a point of Kaixen being different because they really are, and I was going to buy 4300s on ebay but they were out of stock.
Talked with Josh and got the inside scoop, then ordered the bulbs from him.

Is there even 1 member here with the Kaixen that is UNhappy with them?
not including the 8-10k users- those are not good for road driving

Bueller? anyone?
