Replaced Blower Motor Now No Air from Vents
I replaced my blower motor and although it seems to be running at full speed the air is barely coming out of the vents any idea what I did wrong? There is a small rubber hose connecting the motor to a spot under the dash. The hose that came with the new motor that was different than the original which I installed. When I remove the hose there is no air flowing out of the motor.
This is a third party motor and I’ve heard of issues with crossed wires but this one had the connector. I don’t remember pulling the filters but will try that. I also don’t remember if it was possible to install the squirrel’s nest backwards but I guess that could be an issue too.
Thanks for any feedback!

Perhaps the resistor pack is bad ?
Once ya recheck your installation work, try running the "CC" self diagnostics.

The pain about this issue was after I checked the fuse I replaced the resistor when that didn't work I returned it and put the old one back and bought a new motor. After that didn't work I took it to the dealer and they did diagnostics saying it looked like it was the resistor not the wiring so I went back and bought the same resistor and that still didn't work. Before I gave up I took the resistor back and asked for a different one, then it worked and I got variable speeds so the resistor is good just not air blowing through the vents.
I checked the filters and they were in correctly so I'm thinking I need to remove the motor and see if the squirrel's nest may be backward but I don't remember if that's possible to do, is it?

Dang, took the motor back out and there isn't a way to put the squirrel's nest on the wrong way, reversed the wires and SUCCESS!! Like the lower cost of third party parts but this was a real pain. The original bad resistor caused me to buy a new motor at $120 and pay $60 in diagnostics.
