Replaced battery - it is 24 or 24A not 24F
For acura tl-s 2003 right model is 24 or 24a. Battery didn't want turn engine in very cold weather, below 0F. Checked with voltmeter and it show 12,2V in morning and 14,5V when charging. Battery was bad. I know you will say it should turn engine with 12.2V. Yes but because it didn't do and voltage was not perfecr 12,7V it told me battery was bad. Went to Menards and it say there I need 24a not 24f that is recommended here. Brought one 24 from junk yard and all good.

I did a search and it appears that the 24F battery is a little bigger, but has the terminals on the opposite sides when compared to the 24 battery, so you would need to turn the battery around in the other direction. I think this would prevent you from being able to a) mount the cables nicely b) put the battery cover back on (I know most people have gotten rid of theirs by now, but I have all oem plastic bits still) or c) both.
better to stick with what the parts stores recommend here (in this case) and get yourself a batter of the correct size and best cold cranking amps you can find.
would like to hear about your experience with a junk yard battery; how much did you pay for it?

^^^ 40$ plus tax. This is Everstart plus 600 cca. More than enough for this car as I had already days below 0F with that battery and it work. Last one from junkyard lasted 3 years. At my pickup is one from junkyard to and is there around 8 years. Paid 50$ or so but is bigger than one at Acura.

^^^ Yeah I did read about it to. Like if it is long time at shelve it sulfurize. My battery is from 7/18 I guess. I didn't see, in 20 years visiting junkyards one battery in car. They all pull it as it is environmental hazard.

Yep, my experience as well. they drain all fluids, remove batteries and catalytic converters.
The batteries are stored up front near the entrance; sometimes on shelves mostly in special pallets that will go to environmental waste facilities if not bought.
