Replace missing weatherseal on doors

Hello all,

I need some help with getting some replacement parts for my 03' TL-S NBP. I did my stereo install myself and because I'm not mechanically inclined (I'm a software engineer) I did a pretty shoddy job. I'm gonna have my friend redo everything with me and since he does audio installs on the side, he'll be much better at this then I am, but I would like to fix the mistakes I made when I tried to give it a go the first time.

Problem 1:

I completely removed the weatherstrip on both doors during my installation of my speakers and I'm worried that rain or water is causing damage to the inside of my door and/or speakers.

The plastic sheet is what I need, I found what I think are the required parts on this website (here) but I'm unsure as to the exact parts I need. I would like to get my speakers set up the way I want before sealing it up again, is this something that the dealer can do?

Also, I was also looking into getting Dynamat installed on the door panels, would that be a sufficient enough substitute for the weatherstrip? Or do I need both?

do you still have the plastic sheet or did you just throw it away? If so just reuse it and tape it into place. Otherwise from the link you posted its 17 and 41. That stuff isnt a huge concern to have. You could use a garbage bag as well.

I tossed it.

Thanks for the info, I ordered replacements for both front doors along with some highly needed replacement parts that have been bugging me for a few months.

Could Dynamat be used instead of the weatherseal? I was planning on Dynamatting all the doors anyway.
