it's very easy on the side windows since there are no defroster lines, glass is flat and you are woking on glass. simply pick up a corner and peel off all the film. the left over adhesive is easy to remove...protect your door panels, generously apply windex to the surface and continue spraying it down as you use a single sided razor to scrape off the adhesive. as for the rear windshield, you pretty much do the same in terms of peeling off the film, covering the rear deck and wetting the adhesive with windex. however, you cannot scrape with a razor so you might want to consider using a towel or those non-abrasive dishwashing nylon/plastic pads. if you don't trust yourself, pay a pro but they pretty much do the same as i advised and/or they help themselves by spraying down the adhesive with a special chemical specifically meant for the task at hand.
ill tell u how to remove tint, since i tint windows and work at a restaurants on a daily basis. The tint has a adhesive and the plastic sheet(duh)
. To remove the tint, u can either take the door panels off and do it the right way (if u ever want to retint your windows) or u can leave the door panels on and dont think about retinting your windows in the future. Pick up a bottle of Simple Green household cleaner and spray it directly on the tint it self(make sure u cover it good), than put a trash bag over the solution and the tint (make sure the trash bag is cut to fit the window). After you have spray it down and cover it up with trash bags, leave ur car out in the sun for about 45 mins and the tint should peel off with ease. But remember to peel it slow.
there is a second option, take it to a tint shop and pay 300 dallars to remove it.
(i charge 150 for tint removal)

for the 4 windows, just peel off the tint film and use soapy water and a razor blade to scrape off the glue. for the rear window with defroster lines, use soapy water and a steel wool...it wont harm the lines.
