Lightbulb Removing the back seat!

I did a search and couldn't find anything on removing the back seat out of my TL. I am installing a custom box and amps but need access to behind my seats.

Anyone?

reach between the seats near the middle belt buckle latch. There is a 10mm bolt. Remove that and lift on the front of the lower cushion. Once that is poped up and out remove it and remove the 2-3 bolts that hold the rear in. Once removed lift up and forward to remove the back.

There are pictures in the DIY section. If you search for rear suspension there was a DIY for removing the seats. That's how I got mine out. Good Luck!

You need two people to get the back of the seat out. You both need to jam it up hard at the same time

Your talking in the 3rd gen DIY right? I found that just wanted to make sure it was the exact same!

You dont need 2 people. you just have to get inside of the car and lift from the middle of the back seat and once you clear the hooks holding the seatback in, its out.
