Post remove minor scratches

I scraped my passenger side door along a stupid pole (i know.. im stupid). anyways it left minor scratches on there. Is there anyways you can kinda use some kinda chemical that removes those? I'm sure theres something that kinda spreads the surrounding paint when you wipe it and it goes over the scratches. Please help. thanks.

GT88, that stuff advertised on late night tv, works pretty good on dark colored cars

i have 3M polish that my detailer recommended and it never fails on my silver paint. im amazed at the minor scratches that stuff has removed. i dont think its available through retail though

try a polish

Look in the phonebook for 3M. Give them a call; they will help you find a dealer in your area that has their products. 3M Car Care is the best stuff on the market - will beat anything out there. Surely it ain't cheap but it sure is worth the money.

How bad is your scratch?? You may be able to 1200-1500 fine sand that scratch out, then use Perfect-It II compound to remove the scratches. After doing this, the rest of your car will look like crap in comparison to the finished area so the next step would be to use Perfect-It Foam Polishing Pad Glaze on the rest of your car. Talk about a shine...this stuff kicks a$$!! Also, remember to lay a good coat of wax too! Good Luck!

cHocobo118 - When you track down what you're looking for, can you post the results here? I am also interested in getting some of this magical 'snake oil'.

Yep..that stuff works miracles! Make sure you use the foam pad exclusively. Any other type of pad will prove useless.

It seems that 3M has another product similar to the one MrTL's URL takes you to. You can find it by searching Alternate ID for the product number "05996". 3M indicates that 05995 is better suited for light colors while 05996 is better suited for dark colors.
