yeah you have to remove the rear seat to install the springs, but i dont' see why that's so hard and expensive. you never have springs or anything installed at a dealer.. because they rip you off! go to a performance shop or something and i am sure it will be a lot cheaper.

get springs from Snook for 260, and installation should be around 150 (i was quoted before from 2 places) and you save yourself a lot of money

Yes, you'd have to remove the back seat to install the springs. However, that price is a rip off. I had a local speed shop install them for $100.

It's great to know someone that works in a autoshop. I bought the Apexi Coilovers and he installed them for me for $50.
BTW, never go to a dealer because they will rip you off big time and the perfect example would be the price they gave you.

Yo, MT you can go into R-sports and tell them Andrew with a black 2000 TL referred you. You can get install for about 100-150. Also, I recommend the H&R springs since ride is better, it is slightly lower, and definitely cheaper! (than Comptechs!) send me an e-mail if you want me to go in with you. res09pk5@verizon.net

Why don't you remove the back seat yourself. 4 little bolts and the entire seat comes right off. Should save you a few bucks.

Not quite that easy but it is a good idea to do it yourself. No greasy fingerprints or torn leather (if you're careful, read on). Check this thread: How to remove the rear seat.

Oh yeah, go to R-Sports in Bellevue, its up a couple blocks across the street from Acura of Bellevue. Turn like you are going to Fast Signs, its in the complex behind there.

WHOA!!! 700!!? !#$&@$%&!#$@#$&&^%#@ That's crazy, that's like 10 hours of labor that they're projecting. I say go back and laugh in their face. I could see them maybe charging $700 plus tax if they're selling you the springs in that $700. BTW, I don't know how they're charging tax if the springs aren't included because you can't charge tax on labor, atleast where I'm from....
