My trans was fixed last year at 150k. I did a simple drain+fill at about 160k and 170k. I'm wondering if it's best to keep doing this at a regular interval or should I do a full 3x3 change every 30k miles (maybe both?).

I'd appreciate any thoughts on preventive maintenance for our updated trannies.

I would do the 3x3 since its a remanufactured tranny. So you as the owner know that fresh fluid is going back in the tranny.

If you are not sure about the fluid freshness, do 3x3 the first time, then do just one drain and refill on the subsequent times, like every 15k.
