Relief!!! Finally got a smooth ride

So I have been riding with bad bearings for about 3 months now I know not good but hey what can I say? Anyway this weekend decided it was time and I wanted that smooth ride again. Upon taking the knuckle or spindle off I damaged both the lower ball joints, man that lower control arm is stubborn!!!! Anyway get the bearings and both ball joints pressed at my local machine shop and back to putting together. Last step of the process, putting the axle nut back on, taking it off it was a little stubborn so I hit it on accident messing up the thread a little. I put the nut back in and it went on just fine, the bastard cross threaded!!! I had to buy a new axle, man so finally $200 bucks in i get everything taken off and put the new stuff on. Drove it and was so happy, i just needed to exhale it was a nightmare weekend as it was my first job of that nature. Now I can take it apart in 15 minutes, thanks for listening and the diy on here is good I just suck at listening to instructions.

Man, I can feel your steaming of taking them off, on, and off, and on again. How come you didn't find the tool to fix the thread instead of replacing the whole axle?
Do you have any tips on pulling out the axle?

Where are the bearings? Hate to add to the list of problems I have but my ride sucks....it's so bumpy and loud. Going over even small bumps feels like I'm going over a pothole. Not to mention the trim panels shake/vibrate when going over bumps making it seem worse. Also add a loose rearview to the mix and it annoys the heck out of me. Let's also add that the car vibrates so much that at idle those panels actually come to life. Man I'm ready for a new car. It used to be so quiet and smooth.

Well for tips make sure you have some one there to help and that is somewhat mechanically inclined. Its not super hard but its not a walk in the park neither. Your bearings are pressed into the knuckle or the piece that attaches to the lower and upper control arms. Be careful with the ball joints cuz the boot can rip easy. If your ride is horrible that you wanna get rid of the car that's something else homie, my ride was just loud cuz of the bearings, there's a howling sound. All smooth now, def worth the time and money.
