regarding the tranny epedemic....

hey guys i just read the extended 7 yr/100,000 mile warentty. well let me tell you i have a 03 tl-s but not only that i have a 2000 prelude.

both are in the list of cars that could have a tranny failure.

well i am posting this here because i have no where to post it. since hondaprlude is off line now.

ok my prelude shifts very violently and for example when i hit the gas and then let off the gas then hit the gas again the car throws me back into my seat violently. like it missed a shift and is catching up shifting into the next gear.

i dont know everytime im on the highway and oing a stop and go thing, the car jolts me back and forth cause of the rough downshifts and upshifts but mostly upshifting..

i have a 2000 honda prelude with about 19,000 miles on it..

thanks for any help.

epedemic... LOL.. that's funny... 1.6% is an epedemic

anyway.. I'd bring the car in to the dealer... doesn't sound like the car's behaving right. It's free and it will give you piece of mind. Plus, if something is wrong... it'll be fixed and you won't have to worry about it.....

really? My bad... PM = Private Message.

It's just easier that way b/c if the topic gets deleted on the board then the personl you're looking for will never know you were looking for them. With a PM, that person will get it and have it until they reply to it!!

Anyway... good luck with the Prelude...
