refinishing rims ?

Hi guys, looking to see if anybody has found a good way to spend some time and refinish their wheels. I want that nice shiny look back!

Take some wheel cleaner or any household citrus type spray, scrub and wash them good.
Mothers Powerball- the smaller one 20 bucks - fits on drill and makes fast work of the worst stuff, making it better than new.
Example- the end caps of the intake manifold are dull metal stock, and now highly polished feature on my car
Any good metal polish will clean the chrome parts of the wheel and any metal like the exhaust tips.
Use 3 coats of synthetic car wax (takes heat better) everywhere on the rims. Then you only have a quick wash once a week on them.
Look at the pics in Off Topic , Wash and Wax. Excel detail has many pics of his before and after, plus there are tips on product selection.
