redline water wetter?
Hmm.. I saw some very informative posts from Road Rage (as usually) about water wetter. I got a bottle just because I needed my mail order to jump over $100
The concept makes sense but I have a few questions/concerns regarding it.
Since I am up here in the northeast I would assume a higher water to antifreeze mixture could work against me in colder temps. So would I benefit from just pouring the whole bottle into the current mixture (probably 50/50)?
Should I wait until the next radiator flush, 30k miles I think, before using it?
Should I use it at all, or just add it to the line of bottles on the shelf, jk
Honestly, on a daily driver car not being raced is it worth using?

I read their information on the product. It looks like it's really targeted for racing applications. If your look at that cooling chart for the 350 CI engine the 50/50 with or without the water wetter were just about the same.
For the daily driver, I'd say shelve it....

i have it ,im in florida, with little concern for freezing temps i went with a 80-20 mix...also i have a high pressure radiator cap 1.38 kg/cfm,i intend on adding a lower temp thermostat...i believe, and think dyno's have shown, that the type S is running, especially when hot ,very near the threshold of pre ignition ,and many are experienceing a retard spark situation,my plans beyond the thermo, are, trans cooler, and ,one step colder plug, denso IK 22,ofcourse im modded already, with headers, cai, and am anxeiously awaiting RES,and MMII
BTW at 10$ a bottle...not much to think about...it cant hurt...
