Hi There, my recirculate button stops working for fresh air to come in. What do I need to replace. AC or Heating works. Regardless Recirculate button is on or off, I get no fresh air coming in. I know it is not this part# 79160-S0K-A01 MOTOR ASSY., AIR MIX, because it has nothing to do with turning the flap to let fresh air in. This part allows hot coolant to flow in for heat, the heat works, and heat temperature works.

I wonder if the Motor Assy. Mode module is the one I have to replace. Any help would be much appreciated.

 

My guess would be the mode assembly. I woudl first take the center console apart and see if you can see or take it off and see if it moves or works.

 

also, check to see that nothing is lodged where the flaps open

 

recirc when lit is re-using the cabin air- not letting in fresh air- thats why its called recirculate~

light OFF means fresh air

 

I checked both Motor ASSYs and they work.

When Light is OFF, there's no fresh air.

I was looking up for the parts that control the fresh air, and find nothing. There has to be an electrical part that controls the valve.

 

It would be nice to find out what the culprit is. I have the opposite, I am stuck on fresh air lol! Winter is killing me in terms of warming up the car. Mine has navigation too, I don't know where to start. I have lived with it since owning the car 38 months ago.
