hey guys today a client of my dads gave him free subs, amp, and head unit to give to me. the subs are jensens i forget which model exactly and the amp is a alpine v12 and the head unit is alpine as well. do any of you guys know if jensen is good or what not. thanks for the help...but even if they arent good who cares they are free!

I dont know about subs... I stick with the stock system in my car. I love it and wouldn't change it.

 

Jensens are horrible. Go get some Eclipses or Audiobahn.

Seriously, Alpine makes good head units. Dunno about their amps though. Not too sure about the Jensen subs either, but it sounds like they're not too popular here ... but what the heck ... they're free! Gotta sound better than the damn BLOSE subwoofer.

everything but the jensen crap is good. You can buy Jensen at auto zone.
The Puerto Ricans Love that shit around here. BTW i am half PR and i hate cheap subs.

 

Jenson subs are iffy, they are a lot better than their speakers which are crap in a box.... Alpine headunit and amp are by far the suckiest in the industry...... so your better off giving them to me for like $5 if even that......

Naw, the Alpine shit is tight, the Jenson shit sucks and you might want to get new subs.... just take that shit to a pawn shop and trade them for other shit.....

 

All free stuff are good. Hook it up and listen to it. If you don't like it then replace it.
