Well as many of you my tl was totaled on 9-11. Ive bought it back from the insurance since i know the motor is still good. I am looking to get some replacement parts. Anyone have ideas where i can get them? Ive never done anything like this before so i would appreciate info towards what i can do and what i cant. I need a rear driver side door and driver side rear quarter panel. Does the car i get these parts from have to also be a 02? What years would work if not? Mines is a 02 tl type s. Any info is appreciated and thanks. BTW i am not in no hurry to fix it up since i already got a new car. I would like to make sure i have right parts so i dont run into problems when getting it check from the chp (California Highway Patrol).

 

u could use 99-03 tl parts. try a junk yard, the quarter panel might be hard to get unless the junk yard lets u cut up a car. show us some pics, can the quarter panel be hit outwards and then maybe some bondo? now since u bought ur car back u have a salvage title until u rebuild it and it passes a safety check, than youll have a rebuilt title, no warranty.

 

Ill try to get pics up here tommorow. I dont care about the warranty since its out anyways. At 127k.
