Rearview mirror blues...
My rearview mirror (2nd one) just gave up the ghost...
I'd like to replace it with one of those aftermarket units with a compass...anyone done this before? Is there a direct replacement out there that any of you guys know about?

the attach point on the mirror will be the problem
measure it and aftermarket unit

couple of our sponsoring dealers sell the new improved auto-tint mirror for 70-75$ about half of retail
get a gps for 100 to always know which direction you are headed~

If your looking to save money, you could also buy a Gentex 177 mirror with compass for $40 on ebay, then easily rewired it and have it put in for $20 by a place like Apple auto glass. I did that and it worked and looked great. Good luck
