Post Rear window shade

I saw a photo of someone who had installed a rear window sunshade in his TL. It was the "built in draw down" type like the BMW's and new Passats have. He mentioned they were from Japan for the Inspire. Does anyone have one and know where to get one.

BTW: here is a link to Honda Japan's Inspire (TL) accessories page. On the left start with Modulo; once your in, you will see interior, exterior, and other accessorie links towards the bottom of the page.

I wouldn't mind one of those rear window shades - especially now with the sun and heat lately. Too bad Japan gets all the cool accessories and JDM fogs and none for American Hondas/Acuras.

www.ahmotor.com has one for the Accord sedan for $79.20..

I e-mailed them a while ago to see if it would fit the TL, but they wouldn't say. I haven't had time to search out an Accord and compare rear decks. Maybe one of you guys could be a guinea pig.

I just sent them an email as well; maybe I'll get lucky and have them reply to my email.

i wouldnt get the accord shade unless you plan on major mods to your rear deck. ive read the intructions for it, and its not that easy

youll have to remove the panel the covers the sub (the accord doesnt have it) and put holes in the rear deck...since the accord has 6x9's in the deck

not worth it

I would like to get one too.

There is a web site that sells window shades. www.autoshades.com. The rear window shade is called the "Europa".
