I just bought the Polarg M-23 rear turn signals. I figured that they would come out red. Unfortunately it comes out PINK!!! It looks mad retarded. Can anyone tell me if there is a brand that exist that has real "red" turn signals?? Thanks.

I've had my super whites in for a while now but I don't want cops to Fvck with me over stoopid sh1t. I figured that the red bulbs would look hot..........but too bad they aren't red!

The LED ones are cool and even come in different colors, but they are not bright enough during the day, but look cool at night.

Good luck in finding an LED bulb that fits the.. but I doubt you will find them in the 7440 style like the M-23..

if you were using the 1156 type harnes.. maybe..

I just found a website that sells the LED Red bulbs single filliment 7440 bulbs.. for $19.15 a pair...

 

Care to share with the rest of the class??? Why can't you just do what most of us have done. File of one of the nubs on the side. It works great. I did my rear ones like that.

 

How much would it be to buy the 1156 type harness?? I suppose this type of harness requires the screw in bulb rather than plug in.

I was about to go for those M23 (red 7440 bulbs) but decided to go w/ M1 (amber 7440 bulbs) for my red/clear on my Accord. I coudln't see the amber bulbs 'cauze they are hidden behind the clear reflectors! When they are turned on, they blink amber so I don't have to worry about cops!

But the thing about the LED vs traditional bulbs is that the LEDs send the light straight back.. so they really only would be useful if they are directly exposed.. since the signals are in the clear housing, and it uses the reflection inside the housing the help light up the signal, the traditional bulbs will seem brighter..

I don't think the LED bulbs will be that bright.. but the color would probably be better if you want red.

 

Maybe try bubls from APC?? They have less-transparent tint on the bulb... should look red-er, but probably dimmer, too...

I got red bulbs in my turn signals and they are "RED " ! I got them at a local performance shop by me, but i forgot the name. I can check when i get home. I think they are from Japan cuz there aint no English on the package. lol
Where in NY area are you? If your close you can check out my lights.

Edub, lol, i eventually posted the name of the dome light bulb. I think its the same brand. I have the name of the shop its Accessory World in Staten Island. The bulbs were kinda expensive i think $12.00 a piece! but they look great. I havent seen this brand anywhere except this shop.
I made a note for myself to check when i get home. lol
