Blink white?? You are just asking to get pulled over. Stick with red or yellow and save yourself the hassle. If you choose to do it anyway, don't say we didn't warn ya...good luck

indoMFP, just get some cheapie clear bulbs (i forget if its 1156 or 1157) from wal-mart for about $3/pair and it'll blink VERY BRIGHT white. no sense in spending $10 for hyper whites. and you're gonna have to shave down one nub on the side of the bulb for it to fit in the socket
and yeah, as cjitty said, its sorta illegal.

I do know alot of people that are putting white bulbs in the turn signal...I have a pair here but I don't want to attract any heat, so I'll leave the amber bulbs in...
I think there is bulbs that are white to look at, but illuminate amber.. So when the car is off, the headlight has no amber in it at all (now you can see the amber bulb), but when the signal goes on it lights up amber..
Any one else with info on these bulbs??

Most states have a law that says you have to have an amber reflector in the front, just like a red reflector in the back.
Leaving an amber bulb in is not the same as an amber reflector.
Yes there are bulbs that look silver but still light up as amber.

I have superwhites in the front and rear turn signals and I've never been pulled over for it. I've had them over a yr. I dont think cops mess with people with expensive cars. Now if you have a civic or something like that your more likely to get harrassed.

still a Masshole
I've had cheapo whites for the rear and haven't had a problem...then again they aren't hyperwhites so they have an amberish hue to them in the day. They are bright white at night though.
Oh and OEM rear bulbs are amber.
