Rear Sway Bar

I did some searching on this subject and it seems like people agree that the rear sway bar affects driving the most. The fronts don't seem to do much. Is the only way to buy just the rear one through Neuspeed? It looks like the rear comes only in 19mm where as Comptech is 22mm. If you go to the 25mm race version of Neuspeed it says a reinforcement needs to be done.

Should I just bite the bullet and get the entire comptech set? How hard is it to reuse the front bushing? Can I really install the sways myself even though I have very little experience under a hood?

neuspeed has a 25mm rear bar...do a search on neuspeed and comptech sway bar and u will find more info/reviews on that.

and yes u can change the sway bars urself. the front bushings are reused easily. all you need to know how to do is how to jack up your car, how to unsrew bolts, and thats about all! it would also be easier if a friend helped you.

It's totally an easy job..but also an arms pain taking job..if u don't have 4 ramps or jack stands. It took me 1 1/2 hrs for the rear n 1 hr for the front. Use WD-40..it'll make those tough turns a lil easier. And an assistant would make the installation faster.

tell comptech/acp to sell you just the rear bar. im sure they will, but theyll probably deduct very little on pricing - making it wiser to just buy the set

I tried getting ahold of the Neuspeed Race Sways and was told they are no longer being made due to lack of sales. Does anyone know where I can get a set for my 2000 TL? Otherwise, it looks like I will have to get the Comptechs.

I read on another board that they only sold 4 sets. Chances are not very good you'll track one down.
