Rear Brake Adjustment

Rear Brake Adjustment
So I swapped out my rear brakes last night and when my fiance went to drive it the store after dinner before I had the chance to do a test drive on it the right rear started locking up, I'm guessing it has to be the adjustment of the e-brake as I did not adjust them since the rotors went right on with no problem, I have not had a chance to look at it for the adjustment but does anyone know how to loosen the pad inside the rotor so that it does not continue. Thank you

If the parking brake is dragging, you will need to adjust the star wheel through the rotor until there is no drag felt or you can loosen the cable on the pedal inside the vehicle. I went with the star wheel adjustment last time I replaced rotors.

thats what I was hoping for as well, didn't get a chance to look at last night, am I able to do it from the rear of the rotor with wheel still on or do I need to take it all back off?

There should be an access plug. Once removed, use a tiny screwdriver to turn the "star" adjuster up until the pb shoes are locked, then proceed to turn it down about 6-8 clicks to back off the pb.
Note: As earlier mentioned, the adjusting nut on the interior brake pedal can get a minor ajustment, ....if more is needed leave the pedal's cable nut loose until after making the adjustment at the rear brake.
After installing the new rear rotors and pads, did everything appear to be working freely ? The caliper guide pins may need to be replaced and lubed, I found this out by getting in a hurry once and had to go back in for a hot rotor !

Thank you for your advice gentleman, Turns out they were CL rotors and not TL, so what was happening is they were rubbing on the rear against the shield which in turn was causing them to lock up. Did not notice this when putting them on.
