Real dumb quick question

I have a 03 TL-S. I noticed something funny about the locks in the car. Is the driver side lock knob in your car seem a bit longer than the other three? Mine is and I was wondering if that was normal.

If you want them to be the same height, Just unscrew a little bit of the back ones. They just screw in and out.

I have the same deal. I dont think its normal thought becuase my cousin and my uncle both have TL's and their locks are all the same. I'm going to mention it to the deal next time i take it in.

I do not know about other years, but for the 2003...
The two in the front are a little longer than the back.

Supposedly..the ones in th front are longer becuase you will need to reach over your shoulder to pull them up (if you ever had to do it manually). All the passenger(s) in the back has to do, is to lean forward to work them.

Darkshear,

Can you post pics of your door lock knobs? Did you change your door lock mechanism so that when you pull the inside door latch handle, the lock will unlock (like in BMWs)? If you didn't do this, how do you unlock your doors if the power locks fail?

Let me know. Thanks.
