Ready for -S cams

I'm about to get this sweet deal for a "pair of CL-S cams"(A-x.com member) to throw in my '99TL (neatly installed/tuned)

BUT, i dont really know what to do, how many cams i need (2 right?), if i'm capable of installing myself (definetly not tuning) or if i should take to this Mech who knows all about it BUT will charge me over $300 for sure if not more?... I have a Vafc

I need help from the pros on this...please

the deal is also for an accord TB for CHEAP (58mm) i'd get a 64mm type-S one but the ones i get i resell because i need the money...for instance i got 3last month from an a-cler and got sold the week after...i made small money but i wanted one. Yes, it first...perfectly. J30->J32

peace.

What does installing Type-S cams require? Is it a straight drop in and go? If you replace the old ones with new Type-S cams, can our computers handle the adjustments or would it need to be professionally tuned?

yeah, i know, you work or have a connection at American Honda in CA...we actually pm'd a couple times but i never went thru...this dud is doing them 45shipped...and the tb for another 45shipped.

i'm not too sure if i really want that 58mm TB or wait untill i find a 64mm one.

Can anyone give a detailed installation procedure so i can know if i should do this myself of have the mech do it?

Oh btw, 1fastTL can get an insane deal for them!!

Just for everyone's info, you can buy brand new cams from the dealer for $150 each. I was really curious so I called, beats buying cams for my CRX, they cost $300 ea.

Let someone who knows how to do it , do it. You may mess with your timing. And as for the TB, stay with the stock one, dont use an accord one. Go with a bored cl-s tb or a regular cl-s tb.

yeah i thought so, you explained this back when you came up with this idea...about the accord TB; its a perfect fit/bolt on, its 10mm bigger than mine and 6smaller than the cl-s.

I was thinking of getting thisone bored thisway i dont have live carless for 2weeks. what do you think

Peace.

p.s. are you moddin' that bird?

That's $125 plus shipping. I'am not charging tax to anybody who wants them. Have to take care of my people.
