I was reading through one of my magizines and discovered how to read the ECU codes through the check engine light. I dont have the magizine on me right at this moment but I will try my best to explain it. The ECU is located in the center console some where on all TL's. This where my memory gets kind of hazy. Some where near the location of the ECU there are two wires, the problem is that I know one is black and the other I am unsure about. What you have to do is splice the wires togther and then turn the ignition one time over. If there is a problem the light will flash how ever many times, it depends on the problem. The other problem is that I cannot list the whole chart on-line cause it is two big. But dont worry, when I get the magazine back I will be sure to scan the page and post it.
