I'm wondering if theres an alternative bulb that looks silver or clear when we have our driving lights off? I want to keep them orange due to legal driving requirements. I dont want the local police to harrrass me like when I was driving my prelude in college a couple of years ago.

The reason im asking is my buddies with beamers have off the market bulbs they purchased that are painted silver, and when they blink, its orange (rear signal lights).

One thing comes into mind. Painting the bulb? That makes sense if the bulbs werent on for a long period of time, but for our front that might create complications.

I was thinking polarg, its looks cool, but im not sure if its street legal. And I dont like the fact I have to replace my bulbs every 6 months with any of those high wattage / wannabe HID look. I dont really have to much faith in quality when it comes to off the market bulbs unless there from sylvania.

I'm planning to change my high beam to polarg too. Cause I like the blue reflection and there arent on very often. But one thing for sure if I cant change my turn signal bulbs then im not going to change my high beam bulbs! thats hella tacky!! orange,clear and blue bulbs!!!!
