Re: Dome Lights

Hi everyone--I think I may have found an easy solution for the "too short" Polarg M16 domelight (and others like it). I took a 12 oz soft-drink can, and using kitchen scissors cut a 3/8" by 2" long piece of aluminum. I wrapped it around on one side, and the dome-light clips hold the bulb firmly in place, forming a solid "circle" around one side of the dome light.
<p> It has been mentioned before about sheet metal, but a soda-can (or beer-can, if you prefer) is just the right thickness to hold it in place so it doesn't shift.
The Polarg M16 looks great as a replacement for the stock dome!

I included a shot of the Polarg M16 reverse lights as well. Thanks to 2004TL for posting my pics--(SEE BELOW about 7 posts down...)

Need Pics...

What was the original problem?

I've used Polarg superwhite and it was bigger than the OEM so I just shifted the clips no problem and they stayed there. Now I have the same size as OEM but it has a blue tint.
