anybody have any rattling noise from the passenger seat or seat belt and static from the radio/cd. dealer said they can't find any noise i will have them be my passenger the next time if i can't find anything else to say about the rattling noise.

 

yes to both (on my '02 TLS)... all of these model TL's have poor reception sometimes due to the "window" antenna... i have several rattles, but i've narrowed down the worst to the actual seatbelt fasteners (next to the center storage compartment). I'm also having issues w/ my sunroof "squeaking" - as if the rubber is not in full contact w/ the metal...

 

so it was the seat belt then huh! so did u get it fix from the dealer or yourself? if u did it from the dealer can u tell me what exactly u point out to the service advicer? plus i have the rattling noise from the sunroof too but i thought it's normal whenever u tilt the sunroof.

 

the roof is some loose seal or something bring it to the dealer and they should put some kind of anti rattling tape on it

 

Is the seat belt a rattle or a squeak? I had a squeak in my 03 TL-S and I found it to be the drivers seat belt fastener by the center storage compartment also. I shot it with some WD-40 two months ago and not a sound from it. In fact the whole car is squeak and rattle free!
