Rattle in the trunk

Whenever the sub hits, I get an annoying rattle...I have spent nearly an hour and a half over the last 3 days trying to find whats rattling....After double sided taping the plate frame, checking door handles, speakers, removing the rear deck, etc...I finally found it....

Its the 2 bars that go across the trunk below the sub, I think they have to do with the trunk lid opening and closing...When I hold them semi tight and the sub hits, I dont have any rattle. However when not holding them and the sub hits they rattle away.

I believe the part I am describing is number 9 and 10 in this diagram in the link below....

Any ideas on how to stop the rattling?

If they are rattling against each other, maybe some foam tubing or weatherstripping trim around the bars where they intersect.

jdj has an idea-
use vac tubing cut open and slipped around one of the bars
or some duct or gorilla tape
