Raplacing Stock System

I might be posting this in the wrong place but Im about to replace the stock deck with an aftermarket one. My main goal is to integrate the aftermaket HU the best possible way so that it looks seemless. I dont want it to stick out like a sore thumb in my car. Does anybody have any pics or advice so I can get an idea of how I want to mount this? I have a 03 Type non-navi. My HU is an ALPINE DVA-9860.

tons of pics and writeups to help you can be found in the A/V subforum. you'll need to buy the dash kit for the car, although you won't really be able to mount the radio into it "seemlessly", or maybe i'm not following you. if you sand and paint the dashkit it will look just like factory plastic (there are writeups on this as well), not sure if that's what you were talking about. the face of the HU will always stick out a little though, unless you modify the mounting kit somehow.

Yes, mids & highs.

1sinister1, you can get the wood trim from streeteffectz on the audio/video forum. He will sell you the metra kit and put the wood trim kit on it for you if you want.
