Guys my CEL came on after I got trans repaired and it was for a range switch malfunction. Trans is fine and I can drive with no problems. Also the TCS light is on too but the funny thing bis that during a cold start up it disappears then 20 sec later it goes back on. Any ideas? I searched and found out that you adjust your range switch and also check the harness for rips.

 

How long ago did you get the tranny replaced?

 

I always find that mice love to do there stuff on top of the trans, The connector for the range switch is in the same area definitely check for chewed up wiring or it wasn't bolted down properly.

 

Yeah, those lil critters definitely have acquired a taste for the wiring of sensors and such which are usually hidden away from view.
The tranny repair shop may have overlooked this, ya never know. But, if the repairs were just recently done....take it back to the shop.

 

Transmission was installed 2weeks ago. I will check the harness and make sure its tighten correctly.

 

Take it back to the shop.
