random reving and stalling

ok today i was taking my car to the body shop when i stop at a stop sign and it starts reving out of control every couple of secconds, also while it was in park it had very low RPMs and eventually stalled. What do you think my problem is??? please help me figure it out. i just installed a new battery with a different rating but i do not think that this would affect my cars engine. Mind you i have an AEM intake and an apexi exhaust system.

99 TL. Make sure you have enought coolent and bleed all the air out. If that did not resolved your problem check the idealing valve and TPS.

MAF? Just talking out of my ass here. Dont have a lot of experience with TLs yet but that sounds like the problems other cars have when the MAF decides it wants to die.

Yup sounds like a bad Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. As far as checking, don't know but I'm pretty sure thats what's going bad.

If I don't drive my car for a week, it would shake bad enough when I start the car for the first 15 minutes. I had to keep the rpm high for it not to die.
