Ramps and clearance

What kind of ramps do you guys use ? What is the height ? I don't have any body kit and the car is stock (no lowering). I have a really really old pair of ramps that I actually have to jack up the car to put on because the front won't clear. Thanx

i just gave mine away because of the same prob.
i now use two pieces of 6"Hx12W"x30"L wood beams that i tapered one side on. therrrrrre great its the perfect high to do maintance and the car glides up them like noones biz.
I feel these are safer and much easier on our powertrane to get up on. but you can buy some of those plastic ramps with the extenders on them to for extra clearance on the front end.

When I had my 94' Talon I had a hard time finding ramps that were short enough to clear the nose. Then I saw in a magazine an ad for Rhino Ramps. These are made for peopl ethat have low facia front ends, factory or not. I later found them at Pep Boys and they work beautifully. Plastic but strong as hell. About $40/pair.

Man, I wish I lived out there now! Columbia Acura on Montgomery Rd. has been just awful the last three times I went to them. I'm thinking seriously about driving all the way to Superior Acura on Rt.4. Right now I'm in Union Twp. (10 blocks from Eastgate Mall) and work downtown. A far cry from where I grew up....(upper)Price Hill!

Go to Walmart or Checker and get a set of black Rhino Ramps. Perfect ramps. They are light and are perfect. I have a body kit on and can still drive up on the ramps with no problems
