Hey guys, I was installing my blitzsafe last night, and today I noticed that my radio reception is pretty much nonexistent? what are the odds I pulled something out/loose and messed it up? Does anyone know exactly where the antenna hook up is? or where the antenna is for that matter?

 

The antenna is a small round (1/4 inch dia black wire) that hooks to the back of the HU. Odds are you pulled it out

 

Ahh! now i have to go back in there and put it back. Way to ruin my day!

 

Shouldnt take more than 20 min to do

i have checked many times and the stock antenna on my aftermarket head unit works but provides very VERY poor reception, is this normal? or is something wrong?

 

it's normal i wish there was a way to make the signal stronger without that ugly antenna on top of your car.

 

That antenna is for OnStar on the 03 models.

The radio antenna is on the back window on the inside near the top.

 

but how do you increase the radio signal?
