Radiator needs replacement?

2001 Acura 3.2TL with 216K miles.
One mechanic says the radiator needs replacement -- but the car never runs hot. Should I go ahead and replace it? Also there are some leaks in engine oil, but he says "it is not worth to change it" .

No coolant drips or heating issue". This question is related to changing radiator and not to discuss engine oil gasket.

Looks like you're loosing coolant. Are you? You can pressure test the cooling system before you throw parts at it.

As far as the oil leaks, it depends on where. Can you specify where s\you see oil leaks?

If you plan on keeping the car replace the radiator. It looks like you ARE losing a little bit of coolant. It's probably leaking at the seam between the plastic top piece and the aluminum radiator. It's fairly simple to replace. there should be a DIY here on the forums.

the coolant is green, so that's a plus.

If I recall correctly Denso is the oem and the denso brand radiator on Rockauto.com is highly rated.

I'd be prepared to replace the hoses if you do the radiator.

If you haven't replaced the thermostat recently and you are doing the radiator and hoses I would also replace the thermostat. Easy to do and won't cost you any extra coolant costs if you do it at the same time. I am sure you can get one from Rockauto at the same time as the radiator.
Luck to you.

I used the denso one from rockauto about 7 months ago and it fit perfectly with an easy install; highly recommend.

Top of the radiator is leaking, the white residue is coolant, you can also see green coolant at the seams of the radiator 🤔
