Radiator fluid/ fuel injector change

Was at jiffy lube today for a quick oil change and was recommended the following:

1. "we recommend getting your fuel injectors cleaned out. we provide that service at $79.99."

2. "we also noticed that your radiator fluid needs to be changed. its a little on the dark side. the radiator fluid needs to be changed so it better cools the engine. we provide that service at $84.99."

I said no to both of them at the time. But I wanted to double check with you guys whether i should get these done. I dont think i ever had the fuel injectors cleaned out before, and the last time i got the radiator fluid changed was at 30,000 miles. MAYBE. not sure if i really did. But when do you guys get these items cleaned/change? i've read about every 30,000 miles... and even until 158,000 miles!

Im soon due in for my 75,000 mile [Im at 73,349 now], and all i was planning to do was... oil change, caliper clean, mayb brake pad change [at 8/32mm was told, is that good?]. I had my tranny fluid drained and refilled at 60k miles, so i might hold off on that.

what do you guys think?
thanks in advance for everyone's help!

If you want to clean ur fuel injectors dump a can of seafoam into your gas tank. Do it when you have about 1/4 of a tank.

If you changed you fluid at 30k you should be alright, if not flush and change, when that crap breaks down it starts eating away at your gaskets and seals.

X2 on the no jiffy lube, also make sure you use honda/acura anitfreeze anything else will mess up your cooling system.

Fuel Injection cleaning service lol
Seafoam in the tank and thru the intake vac system to clean the pistons and valves etc.
spend 21 bucks on 3 cans and your car will run like new.
The coolant should last 5 years no prob- mine looked perfect but replaced anyway- color is no measure- only using a tester can you tell if coolant is still good.
Acura- Honda uses a special color of its own too.
Believe nothing speedie type shops say- recheck your tire pressure after they saw your car.

lol. ahh... you guys make me feel gewdd....

yea i know its sucks going to jiffy lube. much as i dont want to i havent really found a shop around here that does any good work at all. and jl charges alot too! $34.75... i guess the quick timing and no wait really did the job for me as a student running around all the time.

im plannin to seafoam close to 90k... i guess i might be doing soon!
hmm im gonna try to remember if i changed my radiator fluid at 30k. if i didnt... then i should probably get it done. soon. so you guys dont think i should get the tranny fluid drained and refilled again? last time i got it drained and refilled was at ~60k. right now im at about... 73,xxx... waiting for 75,000.

what does 8/32mm on the brakes mean? good/bad?

thanks for your help everyone...! sorry bout the jiffy lube ... i love my car!

radiator, sorry for the mixup, tranny flush is good ever 30 - 40k, and I dunno if doing it any sooner will keep our slushboxes from crapping out, but i guess i cant hurt either..

dont wait to seafoam- gasoline is getting more expensive every week!
Seafoam and new spark plugs will make the car run like new
Coolant should last 5 years- since the water pump and coolant get done together at 100k miles- roughly

Owner's manual for my 03' says:
Trans. fluid at 120000 mi. or 6 yrs., then every 90000 miles or 5 yrs. (for severe conditions 60000 mi. or 36 mos., then every 30000 mi. or 24 mos.)
Coolant at 120000 mi. or 10 yrs. then every 60000 mi. or 5 yrs. Same for severe conditions.
Severe conditions means: driving in freezing temps, driving less than 10 mi./trip, or in hot weather over 90 F, or extensive idling or long periods of stop and go driving (ex. taxi), towing, in mountain driving, or on muddy or dusty roads.
I changed coolant at the 105xxx mi. service when I changed timing belt, water pump, belts and radiator hoses. For ATF I am following the severe driving schedule even though we live in a rural area and most of our driving is highway - mostly because it's as easy to do as changing oil.

I always follow the severe service or sooner, as I drive mostly on Earth.
A lot of those numbers reflect the govt required longer maitenance interval- so they simply made them longer
check an 01 manual and a 07 and see!
Just like the 5-20 oil scam and CAFE fuel standards
