Radial Pull

My first post to forum, has been an awesome resource since I got my baby 3 months ago. Here's the deal: I have 20k miles on the stock Michelins and my ride would pull right. So I had it aligned to spec by the dealer, still pulled right. Dealer double-checked alignment, and cross-rotated tires. Now pulls slightly left and dealer blames this on radial pull. End of story? Is there a fix (besides tire replacement) for radial pull? Is this common? Is it a defect or a result of poor maintenance?

That's what I am finding out. Although after contacting Michelin they are offering to prorate both tires on the axel. Annoying.

Look into other tires than the stock Michelins.

OEM Michelin tires are truly crappy. Trust us, any aftermarket performance tire is a better alternative to the OEM tires.

I had the exact same problem. Pulled really badly and was attributed to the stock Michelin tire. I ended up scrapping the original tires even though they had miles left on them because they rode like crap and pulled. If you can live with it you are a better man than I.

My car pulls to the right slightly as well. I had an alignment and tire rotation done two thousand miles ago because of this but still experienced the slight pull in the same direction. I recall someone on this forum mentioning that this slight pull was consequence of how the car is built but I don't remember exactly what.
