I just came back from Watkins Glen Raceway. It was a SCDA Driving school- 2 Day Event..

Actually...I may be going to the New Hampshire Raceway on May 29th.....Not sure yet..I really didn't race...It's hard to explain, we trying to learn how to be consistent in our lines and finding the apex.... Top speed for me was 123mph on the "esses".. I couldn't get any faster....I was taking 45-90 degree turns at 60-90mph.....


Crazy track man.. Our cars seem to beat a lot of cars on the straights but when it was turns...forget it.. Had too slow down a lot. The Audis took turns sweet with that quattro...I didn't develop the film yet..as soon as I get them I'll scan and post...

theres a nsx event at lime rock comming up with my club ....i might go to that,,,,,,but i heard they limit ur speed.

Lime Rock is a cool track. They don't limit your speed just the exhaust noise. They set up a decibel meter and monitor the cars and black flag the ones that are too loud.

I used to have a Mustang GT and I went with our local BMW club when they rented the track for the day. Some of the purists didn't want me to go with them as they raced their classic 2002s.

It was the most fun I've had racing the car.
