Hey, I was wondering when you guys race, do you have music going? and if so what are you listening to?

 

Even though I don't race my car or condone others doing it on the streets, how about "Highway to Hell." It's just good driving music.

...no stop signs, speed limits, nobody's gonna slow us down...

i listen to rave and techno..... i like alex DJ.. any thing that has a beats.. i mean loud beats... and girls loves that..

If I hear that Alice Deejay (LSD J, get it?) song one more time, I think I will puke. It's sooo played out. And how is that a "pump-you-up" kind of song anyways? It's more like mindless droning and groaning.. "do you think you're better off alone?" (no) "do you think you're better of alone?" (no) "do you think you're better off alone?" (NO, DAMMIT! SHUTTUP ALREADY!)

yeah. I like rave music too, it gets my adrenalin up, and that is why I need when I am racing.

 

Atom Bomb or Absurd by Fluke is great

(not so great when running at the track against a 10 second funny car... felt like a damn hurst cruising next to him, but anyway......)

I'm with RUF...I gotta here the car. I don't have time to look at gauges, and flip through music when racing. I have to hear the RPMs, and listen to the redline beep incase I'm pushing it a little far.

 

yea no music when racing... gotta listen to the growl of the engine....

but before race or after race... rave stuff by "AYLA" is good... turn it up...close ur eyes...and u'll fall into a new dimension...it juss feels really cool listening to rave cause u fall into it and feels like ur in a different world...

 

Now those Nissan commercials get me in the mood for driving. Especially, the one with STP.

 

I like those VW Passat commercials..

like the one where the car is driving through the city, and everything is moving in time with the beat...

and that one where the two identical passats line up next to each other at the light and the guy looks over at the girl, and then the guys baby throws a stuffed animal at him. For some reason, I keep thinking there's some deep esoteric symbolism in this commercial, cuz whenever I watch it, I go "huh?"

 

I've gotta go with either Underground House Music or Heavy Metal myself...keeps the brain occupied and the pedel firmly planted on the floorboard.
