Quick Tranny Question, did research

Im really scared now, I dont drive my car hard as in shifting throw every gear everytime, if the only gear I would shift before redline would be first and thats it. Now, my first gear and only my first gear in auto gives a jerk that you can hear, but the other gears are fine!, like it would shift fine. Now in SS, it doesnt do that. Should I change my fluid, I only got 72K and I dont think its my tranny though. Got a 1999. Let me know asap!

??? never heard something jerk, ive felt somethng jerk though

As for what it is?? Have you checked your fluid? hows the color look. When was teh last time it was changed?

Side note SS shouldnt make a difference on when it does it over auto. All ss does is have teh user tell the computer when to shift instead of the computer telling it when to

I'll check the fluid and stuff, and the fluid was never changed due to teh fact people said it doesnt need to be changed and I took to get my oil changed and the guy basically said it's fine.. Let you know and takes for the side note. What I mean by jerk though, you can feel it and hear it too I guess.

If it hasnt been changed with that many miles on it, it may not hurt having it changed now. It may smooth it out
