I currently have the stock Acura/Bose system that comes with the car. i want to put in a different head unit. is it possible for the stock sub to work with the aftermarket head unit? i used to drive a lexus with a stock sub and a couple places told me it was a no-go to get it to work with my aftermarket head unit. any information on this would be great.

 

The stock Bose system in our cars is so screwed up I'm surpriserd it's not positive ground.
