Good Morning everyone and Thanks in Advance. I have a few questions about the Comptech Exhuast everyone is using for their TLs.

First Question is : Does TLs from 99-03 use the same comptech ones? Or are there diff ones between the 99-01 and 02-03 ?

Second Question : I see people trying to sell theirs by calling it " Comptech Axle Back " And "Cat Back". Wat Is the difference between the two and which is better? Or am i juss a moron that both are the same?

Thrid Question : Price Range on a retail one?

Last Question : Anyone have a MINT condition one for sale? After i get a Questions answered

 

1) The Axlebacks are all the same for 99-03. The Cat-Back version only fits the Type S (b-pipe won't fit on 99-03 TL-Ps).

2) Axleback more or less is the mufflers plus the pipe to connect the mufflers up to the B-pipe. Cat Back is the entire exhaust from the Catalytic converter back to the mufflers.

3) Check out www.c-c-c.net they have good prices on Comptech stuff. Otherwise check the Group Buy forum, sometimes they have specials.

4) Check the Black Market forum.

Click on the "Off Topic" subheading at the top of the forum to find both the Black Market and the Group Buy forums.

The web site you mentions shows a cat back for the 99-03 TL-Ps.

 

That's not accurate, it will not fit without modification to the piping going to our CAT Conveter. The mounting and flanges are diffrent.
