Quick and Easy Wash
Quick and Easy Wash
I looked into this product for a few months before breaking down, buying it and giving it a try. This is a "hoseless" system to wash your car. Most people cringe when they hear "drywash". And this may sound like one, but I am now convinced that it is safe.
My car went 2 weeks without washing with days of rain/snow in between. It's got a few coats of Zaino on it. Last major full Zaino job was in September and I did some small areas over the last month (hood, front bumper). I had a very thin layer of road salt haze. Mainly on the doors.
This is what I used:
1 gallon of warm water
1 oz of QEW
1 Chenille wash mitt
1 terry cotton foam applicator (for wheels)
1 100% cotton towel for drying.
1 2 Liter Garden spray with water (pre-soak)
Meg's Final Inspection
MF towels for final QD work
Basically mixed the bucket of water with the QEW. Pre-soaked a panel with my sprayer and carefully wiped down the panel with the mitt. After doing one panel, I dried it with the towel and it was as clean as if I did a regular wash. Did the wheels last, same method. QD'd the car up and down with FI when I was done. I was able to do this in the garage in 1 hour. No scratches, no mircro-marring, no streaks, no mess. Very happy with it.
So FWIW, I recommend you guyz on the upper east coast here to take a look at this product to help you deal with the winter. We can't have the roads filled with dirty TLs :p
Sorry, no pics....so go on and comment with a silly face.
